The ‘mencion’ is OK but what’s there beyond?

This is my last year of my degree and it is supposed that next year I could work as a teacher in any school, but what happens if I get no job?

The future is uncertain and if we take into account the crisis, the unemployed, etc. we could fall into depression. However, in darkness time we have to do all our effort to reach our dreams. I always think that we must be optimistic, in spite of the hard situation we are living nowadays.

 There are many solutions for university students. I have my own plan. Firstly, I would like to do a master; I am also interested in any kind of courses that university or other institution offer. Besides, I don’t mind working in a different country, in fact, it is one of my dreams. So, future doesn’t worry me. If there is no job, I’ll keep studying.

Just a message: Take it easy and go for it!

How music can help me as a learner of English?

I think there is nobody in the world who has never listened to an English song. It’s impossible!

English songs have influenced listeners. Many of the words we know have been learned by listening to music. Music is something powerful, it helps us to improve our pronunciation, and if we tend to listen to varied English songs we could notice the difference in pronunciation among different English countries.

By the way, we enjoy listening to music and we learn how to pronounce a word, but what is more is that if we don’t know the meaning of any word, we search for the definition. Besides, when we love a particular song, we search for the lyrics so as to read it.

Unconsciously, we are learning a foreign language just by listening to music. And the best of all these things is that the learning is entertaining and we really enjoy it!

How can a blog help me as a teacher of English?

I find a blog as a very good space to share your feelings, your projects, your ideas, etc. In general, everything you want.

From my point of view, ‘as a future teacher’, I consider a blog as a good tool to use with our students. For example, we could use it to share our daily activities. Besides, we make use of it not only with students but also with parents who can visit our blog in order to see the development of our lessons.

The blog has many purposes. On the one hand, we are promoting the use of technologies, because it is necessary to have a computer with access to the internet so as to participate in our blogs. On the other hand, once you have the access to our blog, you can participate in it sharing comments, advices, etc. Thus, blogs encourage interaction between the visitors and the blogger.

As you can see, blogs have many advantages and it is very useful in the field of learning.
